Sacral SOULmatic Support

General Questions
What is Sacral Soulmatic Support, and how does it work?
Sacral Soulmatic Support is a holistic coaching approach focused on empowering women through healing practices that connect mind, body, and spirit. Rooted in somatic and trauma-informed methods, the process emphasizes nurturing the “sacral” aspects—emotional expression, creativity, and intuition. To guide clients in reconnecting with their authentic selves. Through personalized practices like inner child healing, somatic movement, and body awareness, Sacral Soulmatic Support helps clients release past traumas, strengthen self-worth, and foster balanced well-being.
Why do you focus on Women of Color?
My focus on women of color arises from both personal experience and a recognition of the unique challenges we face in society. As a woman of color, I understand the layers of general trauma, whether ancestral, professional, or relational that often go unaddressed. Despite the growing awareness of the importance of somatic and trauma-informed care, resources for communities of color remain severely limited. Many women of color struggle to find qualified support that acknowledges and respects their lived experiences. This gap is especially pronounced when seeking practitioners who can offer specialized care that resonates with our cultural and emotional needs. While I embrace working with all women and gender-identifying individuals, my commitment to women of color is rooted in the desire to create a safe space where our specific challenges can be understood and addressed. Together, we can navigate the complexities of trauma, build resilience, and foster healing in a way that honors our identities and experiences. Through my work, I aim to empower women of color to reclaim their voices, break generational cycles, and embrace their authentic selves. You deserve support that recognizes the intersectionality of your identity and the unique barriers you may encounter.
Is coaching right for me if I'm already working with a therapist?
Yes, coaching can complement therapy. Many clients find that working with a coach alongside their therapist enhances their overall growth. Coaching offers practical strategies for self-discovery and empowerment, while therapy often delves into deeper emotional work. It’s important to communicate your interest in coaching with your therapist to create a supportive framework for exploring new growth areas while continuing therapeutic work.
What unique offerings can I expect from coaching while seeing a therapist?
Coaching provides a unique space for experiential learning and hands-on practices, such as guided visualizations, mindful movement, and rituals to foster a deeper connection with your body and spirit. Unlike therapy, which often focuses on processing emotions, coaching emphasizes practical tools for self-discovery and goal achievement. You’ll also connect with a supportive community of women, enhancing your healing through shared sisterhood. This synergy between coaching and therapy can lead to profound transformation and lasting change.

What is somatic coaching, and how is it different from traditional coaching or therapy?
Somatic coaching is a holistic approach that emphasizes the mind-body connection, recognizing how emotions and experiences are stored within the body. Unlike traditional coaching, which often focuses on mental strategies and goal-setting, somatic coaching helps you connect with your body’s wisdom through movement, breath, and mindfulness. This can offer therapeutic benefits by supporting emotional healing and self-regulation, although it doesn't involve diagnosing or treating mental health conditions. You can engage in somatic coaching alongside therapy, with your therapist's awareness, for added support.

How do I measure progress or outcomes from coaching?
Progress in coaching is often felt through subtle shifts and notable changes. At the start, we establish personal goals and intentions as a foundation. You may notice increased calm, clarity, or resilience, as well as shifts in thought patterns and emotional responses. Each session includes practices and reflections, while journaling and self-assessment offer ways to track growth. Progress ultimately manifests as a more aligned, empowered, and grounded daily experience
Can this coaching help with physical symptoms related to stress or trauma?
Yes, many clients find that somatic coaching not only relieves mental and emotional stress but also supports physical well-being. When we hold onto stress or trauma, it can manifest physically, often as tension, fatigue, or other symptoms. Somatic techniques such as breathing exercises, grounding, and gentle movement help release these stored experiences, promoting relaxation and easing physical symptoms tied to unresolved stress.
Can I reach out between sessions if I have questions or need support?
Yes, you are welcome to reach out between sessions if you have questions or need guidance. I am here to support you on this journey, and sometimes a quick check-in can be helpful to stay connected and encouraged.
Do you take insurance?
No, I do not accept insurance. However, I offer affordable pricing, sliding scale options for clients in need, and payment plans on certain packages to make my services more accessible.
